  • Chad Dawson-Glen Johnson Approved as WBC Title Bout

    BoxingScene.com was informed that the upcoming November 7 rematch between Chad Dawson (28-0, 17KOs) and Glen Johnson (49-12-2, 33KOs) has been approved by the WBC for the interim-light heavyweight title. The winner will become the mandatory to the title currently held by champion Jean Pascal (23-1, 15KOs). [details]

      This should be a good fight. Would like to see Dawson-Pascal that I think would be a great fight!

        interim lightheavy belt? why would they have a interim belt when they already have a current wbc lightheavy champ in pascal?

            This time Dawson wins IMO... Or when i say wins i mena will be awarded a decision...

            If he fights Jones he KOs him (i`m a big Roy fan, but the only thing i want him to do is to retire; of course i think prime RJJ would defeat Dawson)
            If he fights Hopkins... That will be a close fight, but he will be awarded a decision...

                    dawson and jones...wow...althought i'm a fan of jones i dont see him winning, i see dawson winning by KO no less than 6th round
