The WBC Diamond Championship: Setting Manny up as the Catchweight King

If this goes through and Manny wins, get ready for more catchweight super fights.

Come to think of it, It's all a plan to set Manny up with negotiating power in a Pacquiao vs Mayweather Mega Fight.

Get ready for the Pacman-Floyd fight NEVER gonna happen

If Pacman is a catchweight champion then he as the champ can set the weight at which he wants to defend that title.. Which means at ANY weight.. Most likely he's gonna fight at 141-142 to get his opponents dehydrated. He'll then expect more money than Floyd being the champ plus he would want to set the weight at which they fight..

Floyd is never gonna agree to this.

This fight.. Is gonna be like Hopkins-RJJ II ... All talk, no action.

I'm not really into the whole "good" or "bad" thing. I think it gives Manny more pull in creating intriguing fights that we might not otherwise see because of the weight difference barriers set by traditional weight classes.

I think its ******... there are enough belts as it is... never mind a ****ing catch weight belt... I am completely against this **** and I don't think the WBC realize that this isn't helping Boxing at all... in fact it just effects it in a bad way.
