Haye vs Valuev Contract is Signed For 11/7, Says David

Former cruiserweight champion David Haye has revealed that he signed the contract to fight the seven-foot WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev on November 7 in Germany. Haye was close to a deal to face WBC champion Vitali Klitschko on September 12 in Frankfurt, Germany. The venue and television was secured but Haye had other plans and withdrew from the Klitschko deal. [details]

I don't like either one of these guys, but I hope Haye knocks Valuev off the map so he will fade into oblivion and we won't have to hear about him anymore. Valuev is a guy that Adamek would beat.

I think it's better Haye is fighting Valuev first! Haye should beat Valuev and then he can fight the Klitschkos next year and then the division can be properly unified!!

Hadn't read this, but it confirmed my su****ions. Haye was a ****ing idiot to have signed the first deal he was given to fight Wladimir, giving away all his future options and now he has finally realised it at second chance. He isn't doing himself any favours PR-wise though, as it looks like he his ducking.

This is the boxing equivalent of the tortoise vs. the hare. Vitali should now go for Arreola or even Fast Eddie Chambers.
