Akihiko Honda, head of Teiken Promotions, would love to pit his fighter, WBC super bantamweight champion Toshiaki Nishioka, against former champ Israel Vazquez. When Vazquez was out of the ring due to injury, the WBC made him the champion emeritus and said that he could go directly into a title shot upon his return. The problem with making this fight is that Vazquez is unable to make the super bantamweight limit and plans to resume his career in the featherweight division. [details]

I want to see Vasquez fight Lopez. Having said that, Lopez has hurt his cause for a shot at Izzy by fighting the opponents he has. Penalosa and Ponce are good fighters. But Caballero is calling him out and Lopez isn't answering the challenge. I think Caballero would be an easy fight for Lopez too.Comment

vazquez against luevano would be good,i really don't see him fighting at jr feather anymore,juanma is going up after next fight,so hopefully they will face each other at feather,i'm curious to see how vazquez looks,i do think those wars with marquez took a toll on him,i already saw it in marquez last fight,let's see how vazquez looksComment

i don't think caballero would be easy for juanma,,it seems to me lopez gets hit a lot and guys without a punch seem to mark his face,now i wonder what caballero would do...i think his height and reach would be a problem for juanmaComment
