Why is it okay to defend Floyd Mayweather with PPV #'s and financial figures?

But it's not okay to diss him with the same. He gets exposed for not being a huge PPV draw and not being made of money and suddenly everyone is on some "I only care what he does in the ring" type of bull****. Funny how the tide turns when the same information isn't glorifying who you like. Now everyone only wants to see him fight the best when previously PPV #'s and how much money Floyd made was everyones saving grace in there defense of Floyd and his cherrypicking ways. **** a Floyd Mayweather. JMM is going to KO this fool.

i find it hilarious that his fans are the first to talk about his finances but the minute something bad comes up about them they start crying about people talking about them.

I dont even get what youre saying. When has it been proven that he wasnt a draw? Because he had to reset a date due to the rib injury? Thats your proof? Come on now. Even if the injury is fake, it doesnt mean that it has anything to do with money. I think the exact opposite. I think if it were about sales then they would totally nix the JMM fight all together. Its not like its a new opponent or that the new date is far off. How is this going to help his numbers? I think it hurts it because I know they are not going to do another tour. That means the fight will happened months after they did the tour. Also, the #1 reason why I dont beleive the thing about the sales is because PPV is where the real money is. No one is going to cancel a Floyd-JMM due to lack of Arena sales when that is such a small part of the overall money. On top of that, how much could that fight sell before the 24/7 show appeared? If they had canceled the fight during or after the 24/7 show then I think you could maybe put it on sales but you cant say that before 24/7 came on. Alot of people in the mainstream dont even know much about this fight yet. They will find out alot about it and want to watch it once the 24/7 show comes on. Im not buying this ticket sale hype. Its just contradictions from the haterz. A ton of fights have been postponed due to injury the last couple of years but only this one gets ripped and people blame it on sales. They only do it because its Floyd. I bet he is legimatly hurt and that they will show it on the 24/7.

As for his debt, I dont know what to say about that but I truly dont care. I never care. Why should I? I think proving that you can make money is something special but proving you can hold onto it isnt special at all. Whats the big deal about it? I mean even a regular person like you could hold onto 30mil if you got it while at the same time, a rich guy can easily blow money. It happends all the time. Thats not a big deal to me. Im a huge Floyd fan and I dont want to see him broke but I definatly wouldnt lose any sleep about it. I mean, I dont see him ending up like Joe Louis or anything. or sleeping in a gym like Frazier. If that happened then it would be different but no matter what, I think we all know that he wont ever be starving or homeless. Thats why its not a big deal to me. Everyone tried to say that Michael Jackson was broke but he still lived big his whole life. Its the same for Tyson. He still has a big home and things but people been saying that he's been broke and in debt for years. That doesnt mean much to me. My whole point is that if he's broke then its not like he's broke because he never had money. He just had it and blew it. Alot of truly rich people have done that. I wish I could be so lucky to blow millions. The good thing for him is that he can basicaly get it all back in one fight. Also, debt isnt always real debt. Some people just dont like to pay for things. Some of his debts were for a few hundred or a few thousand. You know he had that. He just didnt want to pay it or didnt care. Its not always true debt. Some rich people just dont pay taxes. It doesnt mean there broke if the IRS comes after them. They just didnt care to pay them but now they have to

You clearly dislike the guy, but your making the threads about him... if you dislike him don't talk abut him, its okay you can crack your obsession.

The PPV **** is good to argue when people blame Floyd for wanting 60/40 against Pacquiao when Arum wanted the same for his man... you can't blame one and not the other... when people try to blame Floyd for not accepting 40% its an argument to put things straight and stop people blaming one guy... e.g. I think 50/50 is fair, though I don't give a **** about the purse split as long as the fight happens if he beats JMM.

When people come out with "Cotto/Mosley aint a big enough PPV attraction to fight Floyd" I disagree, people will buy the fight cause they want it... plus its a fight I wanna see.

There is a huge difference between discussing somebody owing the IRS and purse splits, e.g. of course he is gonna accept a big money fight with De La Hoya, but how much he owes in taxes is irrelevant.

It is only the fact that you get off of the fact that he may owe money, as if you know him personally, as if he has done something to you... if you are happy about every bit of bad news you hear about the guy then it shows you are obsessed.

If you think "**** Floyd Mayweather!" then don't post about him, you clearly don't wanna hear his name so why are you encouraging it by posting about the guy? If you dislike him that's fine I understand why and if you wanna think JMM KO's him that's fine but if you think **** him, then that means forget about him... which is the opposite of what you are doing.

You are just as obsessed as the nut huggers, seriously... I got nothing againt you, you could be a cool guy... but I am just saying, you clearly dislike the guy, and don't wanna hear about him, then you shouldn't be encouraging it with these threads.

            Er!

Ricky Hatton is still active but on the injured reserved list.
Ricky will draw Floyd under the table.

If Floyd was such a HUGE draw as you ******ly claim, why were the ticket sales so low?
