talent isn't just about athleticism though. A lot is to do with coordination. Plenty of outstanding athletes would be crap at boxing, because you also need outstanding natural coordination. Corrie Sanders had amazing talent, even if he wasn't the best athlete.
But Roy had the most talent of any fighter in my lifetimeComment

How do you say that in bold, and at the same time state the first sentence?talent isn't just about athleticism though. A lot is to do with coordination. Roy was all athleticism. It's just that he was blessed with phenomenal athletic abilities. Incredible power, speed, and timing. Floyd was blessed with the same but has something Roy never did or never used.... Intellect.Comment

There have been plenty of great athletes. Roy was probably the greatest - but you don't accomplish what he accomplished without skill. You might become a Zab Judah, but not an ATG. And anyone who listened to Roy give insight when he used to commentate on HBO knows he was a real student of the game.
That said, I think Floyd was much more technical on defense. He had the ability to slip, roll and counter whereas Jones relied much more on his legs and reflexes. While it made him a lot harder to hit than Mayweather (at least when he was in his prime), Floyd will have the advantage in his later years.Comment
