the biggest fight of his career??..he means in terms of money, but not for the glory of it,,i think beating little pacquiao does nothing for cotto,i expect him to win since he's just way bigger, the natural welter,i'm kind of surprised he's going to take this fight considering he talked very badly of oscar for fighting manny saying there were plenty of welters around,,man if little manny beats him, will be the funniest thing around....cotto should be taking the challenges of williams, mosley, not this little fighter

Miguel Cotto: "Pacquiao, The Biggest Fight of My Career"

i honestly believe he's also a shot fighter,at first i said maybe tony did have loaded gloves, but watching cotto get tired in second half of fight against clottey, and he did also against margarito made me think thats just the way he is,,he gets tired, same against mosley when they fought, and he just can't take punches, don't mean he was about to go down, but you can tell in his expression when he gets hit and that just wears him down,if clottey threw punches like tony did (100 per round) clottey would have won, actually i think clottey gave this fight away...cotto fights williams,he will get ko'd,badly...fights pacman, safe fight against a little fighter

All I have to say about Cotto is that he has always found a way to win win the fight (obviously with the exception of the plasterito fight for obvious reason in my opinion)
When he has fought ko artist at the time of the fight AKA Ricardo Torres and Kelson Pinto, Cotto has shown his power and knocked them out.
When face with difficult and complicated styles AKA Urkal and Clottey, he has managed to win.
When faced with good fast and skilled boxers AKA Malignaggi, Judah and Mosley, not only has he beat them but has surprised them with his speed as well.
Bottom line Cotto is a boxer that has been able to adjust against different boxing styles and situations. Will he adjust to Pacquiao??? i'll guess we will have to find out in November.
Another thing that people don't realize is that Pacquiao is not always on balance while throwing punches and Cotto is a good counter puncher with the strongest punches that Pacquiao has ever faced.
Both fighters have a good chance and this will be a hell of a fight.
Keep in mind also that even though I agree that Cotto is bigger, that's just in his body frame because in terms of height that both are 5'7" and thers's a slight reach advantage for Cotto for 1/2" which is minimized by Pacman's speed.
You never know that probably Cotto's body frame will shrink just a little coming down to 144 and Paquiao's frame will be bigger by gaining weight.
At the end you will probably not notice the difference.

cotto
its his biggest fight because if he cant dominate pacquiao and pacquiao makes him look horrible and he will if the fight goes past 8, who's gonna want to fight him and take the fight seriously other than say clottey or margarito?
if hes not already messed up in the head this loss will really take him overboard. we have to see the "killer instinct" come out of him this fight.

Cotto could have easily said he couldn't continue but he said "**** it". I give cotto a lot of respect because of it. But you ****ing pac fans want to disrespect everyone who is a possible opponent. What's going to happen when pac loses. I'm not making any predictions because anyone could fall in any night. But you pac fans feel like he can't lose, never. When he finally does against whoever, you mutha-***as will ****ing cry because, unlike us latinos, we breed champions by the dozens, philippinos aint got **** else to fall back on but kareoke and lumpia.
