  • Haye's Manager Agrees With Klitschko's Decision

Adam Booth, manager of David Haye, agrees with Wladimir Klitschko's decision to go forward with his June 20th date with undefeated Ruslan Chagaev. Klitschko was set to defend his WBO/IBF titles against Haye on that date but Haye withdrew last Wednesday with a back injury. Haye was ready to fight Klitschko by July 25, but the champion, inactive for six months, was not willing to wait any longer and made a deal with Chagaev. Booth is not upset with Klitschko's decision. He says the same decision would have been made if Haye was in the same situation. [details]

He needs to fight anybody he can a.s.a.p. even if it isn't a title shot straight off or he'll be slightly rusty, especially as he's only had one heavyweight bout.

After he fights Vitali, there will be no chance he fights Wlad. there will be no interest. his first klitschko fight will be his only klitschko fight

Totally agree. He wouldn't have beaten Wlad, but at least he could dream about possibly hurting Wlad or knocking him down. He ain't knocking down Vitali and we all know what happens when Vitali is pissed.

Haye wouldn't make it out of round 5.

you say that but vitali looked totally shot in his last fight, i think he's only going to get worse and if he grows old over night then haye could be there to beat him into retirement.
one thing i dnt understand is why most people love the klit bro's they arnt to entertaining to watch and dnt bring to much fun to the heavyweight division. Haye is great for boxing as he goes out to ko people and exite teh fans.

                Yeah he looked shot.

Beating up and shutting out a fighter who is technically miles ahead of Haye.

Gomez UD Haye easily, any day of the week.

I wish haye would look at fighting someone else. Having atleast one fight against a 'contender' won't do him any harm!

Well it would put another L on his ledger.

Haye will fight someone like Scott Gammar or John McDermott.
