...and so then they made the decision to go with Ruslan Chagaev on June 20.
Haye's doctors informed Bonte that Haye should not fight until July 25 or later

Can't argue with Wlads decision to fight another opponent as long as he fights Haye at a later date, that's fair enough.
Wladimir didn't know Haye was going to injure himself and nor is it his fault, hes been training to fight and hes not going to let his time be wasted, hes going to fight another credible opponent.
As I said though, Wladimir must also understand the injury was an accident and stick to his word to fight David Haye.Comment

At least maybe now people will stop saying he's scared, since it's a legit injury. The way I see it, Haye should fight ASAP once it's recovered, Klitschko can get his fight with Ruslan and his mandatory against POvetkin outta the way and maybe they can have a fight for the belts somewhere in the beginning of 2010.Comment

Wlad needs to fight the winner of Chambers-Dimitrenko after Povetkin, and then he will try to get a fight with the winner of Valuev-Ruiz to complete the unification of all the titles. At least maybe now people will stop saying he's scared, since it's a legit injury. Haye is going to need to defeat a top ten heavyweight before getting another title shot, unless he signs with Don King.

As I said earlier, Chagaev is a better fight for Wlad's Resume and gives him a shot at the Ring belt which frankly is worth more than 20 Haye fights IMO.Comment
