According to the Kiev Post, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has launched a legal protest against Kiev Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky for claiming that he tried to get land from the mayor for a boxing club. Klitschko is the leader of the eponymous bloc on the Kiev City Council in Ukraine. The two were involved in a heated verbal battle on Friday. Klitschko was critical of the mayor, who shot back that Klitschko had never approached him on any issues other than trying to get land for his own purposes. [details]

So thats what he's been doing the last 2 months, instead of fighting in the ring he's still fighting politics in Kiev. ****er could have fought Maskaev by now. But he doesnt like to fight often, hell he went four years without a fight, so im pretty sure he doesnt care how long the arbirtration for sport takes. I think Vitali has lost his love for the sport. So now its only a matter of time before he loses, if your heart isn't in the sport its time to get out or get hurt.
