Amir Khan Looks To Follow Haye and Froch's Lead

UK lightweight star Amir Khan is looking to follow in the footsteps of other UK-based fighters who recently won major titles, like David Haye and Carl Froch. Khan, at age 22, is focused on achieving the task even quicker than his countrymen. Khan goes for the WBA junior welterweight on June 27 against Andreas Kotelnik at London’s O2 Arena. [details]

Khan may get a belt, but I dunno if he can be the man in his division just yet.

If Amir Khan really wanted to make a statement, he needs to fight Victor Ortiz... They're both young, talented prospects. The only difference between these two I see is that Vicious Vic is a lot hungrier, hence Khan won't fight him

Unless you can pull up some evidence Ortiz has called out Khan and been ignored, I could just as easily say 'Ortiz won't fight Khan'. It's bollocks in either case; the fight might well happen at some stage, but no reason it should be next up. Khan is a far more attractive fight for Ortiz with the belt than without it.

Holy Sh8T!!! I feel sick reading this artcile... "I have proved critics wrong..."

You have proved, you really began to work with your head... literally...

P.S. If he decides to stay at LWW and fight such guys as Ortiz or Maidana - he`s dead... Unless he improves greatly, which i can`t see happening in such a brief term...
