If he could knock the rust off I imagine he would be at his best. The Marquez fight he probably wont get started as well as he usually does do to the lay off. 32 is a great age for guys like Mayweather who live clean, stay in shape and are always learning and improving their game. I imagine the best Mayweather might still be to come.

He does all kinds of crazy **** in training camp. He spars with world class guys, sometimes he doesnt divide it into rounds, just goes for 25 minutes straight while revolving partners. He also hasnt really been out of the gym this whole time.
Like I said: Floyd might be the best we have ever seen him. Guys who dont get hit often, stay in shape and are constant students of the game often keep getting better while other guys are starting to fade.

It depends in his next fight. If Mayweather will KO Marquez his fanboys will tell you he's prime, If UD ring rust, SD he not prime, if he loss he is shot.

If Floyd wins, he's in his peak.

                    If he loses, not anymore.

This applies to all fighters here in boxingscene...

if he loses to JMM he is past his prime. If he KO's JMM, hes still in his prime. At least thats what people will be saying after the fight
