Right when all the big fights were coming up for him, right when he was still in his prime, right after he made the big bucks he decided to leave. Now to come back for perhaps only one real fight with Pacquiao and retired again.

While Mayweather was retired Manny Pacquiao continued fighting th best the sport had to offer. Juan Manuel Marquez, David Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton. Right after fighting Three battles with Erik Morales and fighting the undefeated Jorge Solis.

So who did more for the sport of boxing? How would fans feel if Manny Pacquiao now decided to retire avoiding to fight Mayweather, Cotto or Marquez? Would you criticize him to do what Floyd did? Think about it.

right now, manny pacman is carrying the sport on his back and making boxing exciting and bringing in casual fans, i know that, but thats not what this thread is about, at all.
