Good wee scrap but Bunce was right when he said niether is ready for world level. But hopefully Lindsey can move onwards and upwords from here.. maybe fight for the European title soon. Great to see another Belfast fighter making a name for himself

But what's wrong with being a british level fighter.
They will still probably earn more money than you or me.
Fight Truscott or simpson, can have some great domestic dust-ups

This post reminds me of Georgie Smith.
Entertaining domestic fighter who had some highlight reel knockouts.
Nothing wrong with being domestic level.
Those fights can be entertaining as any.

The domestic scene can be like a "mini" world scene if you get me, where they are all calling each other out, fighting and winning/losing against each other.
I'd say 60% of the fights I watch are domestic level, because there is ALWAYS one EVERY week.
Domestic fights MAKE boxing what it is, and also makes you truely appreciate the talent of the WORLD scene.

I think Lindsay and Appleby could potentially fight for world-titles....eventually.
I wouldn't dismiss them as domestic fighters yet. Lindsay looked class in spurts, and Appleby, man that kid is nearly 3 years younger than me, and I'm a different person than I was at 21 than I am now. He'll improve as sure as eggs are eggs.

At first i thought the stoppage was premature. However i seem to remember Appleby looking a bit out of it when he was lead back to his corner. Probably a good stoppage in the end.
Terrific fight though.

anyone got a link for this, can only find a camera phone video of the TKO on youtube. Sounded like a great atmosphere at the Ulster Hall, wish I wasnt working so I could've went to it. Imagine that x 10, and that'll be the Rogan fight at the end of the month.
I'd a feeling Lindsay would do it, Appleby is pretty overrated.
