Freddie Pendleton was 24-16-3 by the time he met Pernell Whitaker for the Lightweight title (he lost). He went on to win the vacant IBF Lightweight title and 13 fights in a row. He defeated opponents like Tracy Spann, Tony Lopez, Jorge Paez and Darryl Tyson.

            Awesome right hand on Pendleton.

I believe Henry Armstrong lost 3 out of his first 4. Wonder what ever happened to him?

It still amazes me that Saoul Mamby fought at age 60.

                    That's frickin nuts.
