Cheeky Ricky Hatton drops trousers to reveal frilly thong

He may not be the man who can beat Pinoy Idol Manny Pacquiao but Ricky Hatton is a man who is certainly secure in his masculinity.
No one needs to ask Hatton if he chooses boxers or briefs because the world now knows he prefers lacy thongs.
Doubts about the popular Brit beating the heavily favored Filipino on May 2 will grow after Hatton showed up at ringside in Las Vegas Saturday and chatted on camera with announcer Jim Lampley.
Their first topic was how on the Hatton-Pacquiao 24/7 infomercial which debuted on the prime cable network Saturday night Hatton pulled an on camera stunt to embarrass his volatile, poetry-spouting trainer Floyd Mayweather.
In the comedy bit, Hatton shows up at the gym where Mayweather sits on the ring apron ready to work.
Hatton drops trou to reveal that he is wearing a frilly, feminine thong under his street clothes.
Sometimes you have to go beyond the customary prefight Tale of The Tape.
Oddly enough, Hatton sat at ringside next to his U.S. promoter Oscar De La Hoya who had his own public issues about wearing lacy ladies undergarments last year. The Golden Boy was seen wearing fishnets in widely circulated photos although he continues to say the pictures were fake.
No one ever alleged the comely Russian stripper in those saucy photos was not real.
Lampley asked why Hatton wore the feminine undergarment.
“You know,” Hatton said, “Floyd is always messing about so I thought I would go knock him down a peg or two.”
That topic you might say “covered,” Lampley then inquired as to how Hatton’s Vegas training sessions were coming along.
Lampley mentioned that Hatton had a pair of slightly blackened eyes as he spoke.
Hatton tossed off the bruised facial areas as a byproduct of spirited sparring.
“My sparring partners have been fantastic,” Hatton said. “I only had seven weeks (in camp) with Floyd for my last fight. I will be faster, better and have a better jab.”
The always “cheeky” Hatton suggested that Lampley “put a bet on me” because “I will be fast and fiery.”
Hatton also discussed why he sacked longtime trainer Billy “Preacher” Graham, explaining that he was disappointed with his fighting from against Luis Collazo, Juan Lazcano and his high profile defeat at the hands of his trainer’s son, the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“I needed to go back to the drawing board and I looked better in the (Paulie) Malignaggi fight with Floyd training me,” Hatton said.
They say it takes a real man to properly wear a thong.
The fun-loving Hatton might show up for the official weigh in for Pacquiao with another fashion stunner.
Rumor has it Hatton is shopping for some dental floss.

For his part, De La Hoya makes a public announcement Tuesday morning in Los Angeles as to whether he will retire after getting spanked by Manny or fight again.
It is believed that Oscar will keep his clothes on.
