Hatton Learned From De La Hoya's Mistake With Pacquiao

yea i think ricky's pressure will eventually get to him one way or another...and morales wasnt even there in spirit in the 3rd fight...still great win for pac...and yes i'm paying $55 for this...so better go longer than 3 rounds...hahaManny knocked down Morales (3rd fight) while he was on his heels, and he learned his lesson from the old days by backpedalling straight when he's under fire. He now deftly sidesteps to avoid his opponent's oncoming rushes, ready to pounce on any opening that his adversary will provide, although I don't discount Ricky catching/grappling/holding/mauling Manny here and there, but it will be few and far in between.
Manny has evolved, and so is Ricky, so I am really expecting a lot of fireworks come May 2nd, just hoping it won't be one-sided, for both parties and the fans' sake...Comment

i dont understand why Hatton keeps saying he is going to bulk up and be the bigger man? his only two outings at 147lbs were Collazo, which he just about sc****d a victory from, and Mayweather and we all know what happened there,Hatton cant bulk up and keep his ferocity, look at his former outings!Comment

He's just psyching himself out for the fight, there's not much positive he can say about himself when he matches himself against Pacquiao. He should start believing in himself if he wants to win this one...Comment

Morales in the 3rd fight could have been knocked down by a summer breeze. His legs were completely shot. What a joke.Manny knocked down Morales (3rd fight) while he was on his heels, and he learned his lesson from the old days by backpedalling straight when he's under fire. That's not the point, we're talking about the old Manny who can't fight back while going backwards, and what are you doing here? It's way past your bedtime...Comment

This is an interesting one then! Hatton not doing any gruelling training and Ariza saying Manny's training is 'phenomenal'. I think Hatton is concentrating on overpowering and hurting Pac-man so much in the early rounds that he gradually retires in the corner or his legs give way due to the body battering. But I'm a huuuge Hatton fan and getting increasingly worried that Manny will see out those early exchanges to make his fitness and skills the winner!! I hope i'm wrong and it's all out war right through. Hatton KO 11,, YIP YIP YIPComment

I'm sure Pacquiao has hit people going backwards in his previous fights, except the opponent didn't have shot legs so it had no effect like it did on Morales in the 3rd fight. Pacquiao gets his power from forward momentum only. He's very weak on the back-foot, unlike someone such as Mayweather who is actually stronger going backwards.
Pacquiao is not really improved. He simply learned how to run better. He looked like **** against Marquez years ago, and he looked just as ****ty in the rematch except he was on his bike more. In round 12 against Marquez II, he was doing that same ol' jab jab left punch as he did 10 years ago. He thought he lost the fight (according to Pacquiao) and needed a knockdown in the 12th to win. He was desperate, and he went back to his old ways! He is not confident in his "new found" boxing ability at all. You'll see on May 2nd

This is going to be a great fight! The more I think about it, the more a salivate. There is plenty for fans of each man to say..... "is yet to be proven above 135", "Ricky just gets hit to often", "Manny is not big enough", "Hatton doesn't have the head of foot movement to keep Manny out of distance", "Hatton applies never before seen preassure"..... hell I find myself playing a couple of scenerios in my head and I'm yet to see a true favorite in my eyes..... therefore I will be glue on May 2 and may the best man win......!Comment
