Haye Looks To Lennox Lewis To Overcome Wladimir

How much trust is David Haye investing in Lennox Lewis? Well, five minutes after Haye signed a contract to fight WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on June 20, he called Lewis on the phone for advise. During a conversation with UK scribe Steve Bunce, Haye revealed that Lewis, the former undisputed heavyweight champ, has some great ideas on how to approach the fight. [details]

Didnt Lewis retire so he wouldnt have to face the Klitchko's anymore?? I'm not sure he's the best guy to ask for advice against them...

Haye don't fight like LL so no point to him askin LL for help. No secret on beatin Wlad anyway. Try to get inside his reach and throw power shots hard and fast. Forget his body, bomb away to his chin and press for a KO.

He retired because he was old, and batter Vitali and won by stoppage.

Rofl, wasn't Vitali a replacement bout aswell?

He isn't going to fight like LL. He is going use him as a sparring partner. Since he has a long reach and powerful right hand

Part of the reason Lewis could handle big heavyweights so well was because he himself was a big heavyweight. That being said, I have no doubt Lewis could help Haye come up with a gameplan for Wladamir. Whether Haye's chin can last long enough to implement it is another story.

                    No help

I don't think it's going to help to much, i mean Lewis gave advice to Danny williams and Corries Sanders on how to beat Vitali and it obviously didnt work, he realized Vitali is harder to beat so maybe Lewis figuers his advice will work better on Wladimir. Which it probably will but i still dont think Haye beats him, lets not forget Wlads got Mannny stewart and he also has tons more expience, in the amerturs and the pro's. But i think that also shows a little lack of confidence in Haye.
