The biggest fight in New Zealand boxing, David Tua vs. Shane Cameron, may get pushed back even further. Cameron's hand surgery has been delayed due to a scheduling conflict with the surgeon. During a recent tune-up fight, Cameron aggravated a pre-exiting hand injury and an MRI would show damage that was significant enough to push the fight from June to August 29. The surgery was going to take place on an immediate basis but Cameron's surgeon, Tim Tasman-Jones, was backed up with other procedures and the surgery was pushed to the tentative date of April 3. Poor old Tua will likely be 40 before he's back in the ring. -
Every time I hear about this fight now I wana vomit. I'm so damn sick of talk... talk, talk and nothing ever happens. Just do the damn fight or move on. How is Tua supposed to fight at a high level again with all this BS goin on?
