Soto looked good but he was fighting a 36-year-old never-was-much opponent who has twice been widely beaten in title fights and was just in there to make Soto look good. Let's see how Soto does against the big boyz, hopefully next time out

It was a sloppy fight until the 4th, shows that Soto's only real flaw is his lack of patience. Even in that 4th round he started to get out of control. As bad as Davis was fighting, if Soto would have calmed the **** down and jabbed and threw some uppercuts every time Davis dove in, he would have probably finished the fight even quicker. In the Guzman fight he fought the same way, way too aggressive. And it's ****ed up because he has the physique and physical attributes to be just as good of a boxer-puncher as Marquez.
Seriously, if someone would teach this ****in guy some patience and put some finesse to his fight game, he'd be a ****in monster.
As for the talks about him movin up to lightweight, he's a lil too narrow for the division, but the division for the most part is kind of lacking. There were talks about him fighting Antillon, as action packed as it would be, Antillon is just too big, too strong, and too accurate. I think it would be a waist to put Soto in a fight like that. For a quick paycheck and a high profile fight, he could face Barrera but I don't know how likely that would be. Him and Katsidis would be an amazing fight, maybe Funeka?

Antillon will definitely mess up sotto. I give Sotto a better chance against Valero than antillon
