Berto vs. Urango Talks Continue For May 30 on HBO

BoxingScene.com was advised that Warriors Boxing and Lou DiBella are continuing their discussions to work out a deal for an Andre Berto vs. Juan Urango bout on May 30 on HBO. Urango, the IBF junior welterweight chamion, would move up to 147 to challenge Berto for the WBC's welterweight title. The two sides thought they had a deal but Urango, unexpectedly, issued a demand for more money. DiBella reached out to promoter Joe DeGuardia and tried to replace Urango with Delvin Rodriguez. HBO had absolutely no interest in Berto-Rodriguez. [details]
