Vitali Klitschko Wants David Haye or Arreola, Not Maskaev

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is battling back against the sanctioning body. Klitschko has to make a mandatory defense of his title against Juan Carlos Gomez on March 21 in Stuttgart, Germany. The WBC would issue an order that the winner of Klitschko-Gomez would have to face Oleg Maskaev within four months - in yet another mandatory. [details]

As much as I would love to see Oleg get the beating of his life against Vitali, I have to agree that this fight should not be forced. Maskaev has done jack-crap to deserve another title shot this soon. He must have the sanctioning body by the nuts for sure. Haye and Arreola def. deserve the shot more. Even fellow Ukranian Alex Dimitrenko should get his crack before Maskaev does again. It's a shame if the WBC forces Vitali to vacate because I know he will if they don't give him a voluntary this year.
