Cotto has shown in the past 2 yrs his range and growth with every fight. He's gone frome showing speed and boxing abillity, with this fight he made it dificult for Jennings to punch because of his defense. And of course his signature power through body punching. I think he's ready to get back to the top of the devision.

omg i thought i was the only one in the world thought he look sloppy at time. first, he looked slow compared to his last fight. he wasn't as sharp punching. but he did look physically strong as hell! alot muscular. or maybe just the tighter shorts. but oh man! that left hook. even though he's my favorite fighter. i've always thought his left hook to be a bit overhyped. but did it ever so up! i think he can crumble any welterweight with it.

Yeah he really hurt Mosley and Margacheato with that devastating left hook..LOL

cotto was relaxed

Cotto performs best as a relaxed fighter. Don't be fooled by the "slow" movement. He stays relaxed and subtle and then quickly pounces with power punches. If Cotto was really that slow, why is it that everybody keeps getting hit by his punches? The punches look slow because he's not moving his entire body and twitching when he throws - again, he stays relaxed and only the arm moves as the body leans in a bit.

As for the Jennings fight, it proved nothing. Cotto beat him just as easily as he beat Gomez. Jennings was running the entire fight like an amateur and only looking to score "touch-punches".
