Barrera against "an emerging "A Cuban Las Vegas"

Freudis Rojas, a Cuban fighter who advertised as "living in Las Vegas' history with a win, seven losses and one tie, the man who will put in a ring with Marco Antonio Barrera, tonight in the auditorium of Telmex the Udege in Zapopan, Jalisco.

Dominican Johnny Nolasco, who was supposed to be the enemy of Barrera, did not attend the ceremony with the scale in Guadalajara, where the former triple world champion scored 63,500 kilograms

The company explained that respective Nolasco did not obtain a visa, which is not surprising then how could it get such a role for migration as quickly substitute.

On the last-minute change, Barrera told José Rodolfo Castro: "Oh how good, I just learned about you, did not know the truth, but we make, we made a preparation for two months, we can not put anything in risk because we have a very large March 14 (against Amir Khan in Manchester), then the fighter, whatever it is, we're ready for anyone. "

Moreover, it was reported that Rojas Freudis Welter is one of 33 years born in Guantanamo, Cuba, and 9 professional fights and his last fight in the disputed November 2007 and lost to Victor Vazquez.

Apparently the guy came to the arena knocked out already. They're trying to ressucitate him so they can start the fight.

              I'll keep you posted.

I just think Khan is too fast for Barrera. Barrera has never been known as a one punch guy, plus he's not at his natural weight. Khan is a very big lightweight and his only loss was against a dynamite puncher. I think Warren is making a very smart move with this matchup.

Yep, I agree. I reckon Khan will TKO Barrera (unfortunatley). This fight has come at the perfect time for Khan.

Will Khan try to emulate Pacquiao in the first Barrera fight and shock him with offense?

I'm heartened by a few guys picking Khan.

Everytime I picture it, I see Khan lighting him up and looking like a millions dollar and then....getting sparked.

Khan is a huge lightweight but Khan's chin isn't even questionable: it's ****.

Not even chin, punch resistance. The punch Gomez put him down with, I'm confident I could have taken that after a night on the piss.
