So what happens if he is not "vindicated" and that was really plaster in his gloves? I doubt he gets jail time or a life time ban like Resto & Panama Lewis, because it was caught before the fight. More than likely he'll get suspended for a year or something similar to when Toney got busted for roids. If he was up to no good he deserves to be suspended for awhile. If nothing was found in the wraps, and they were just using extra wraps can he get in trouble for that? I dont recall Tito getting in trouble when they busted him doing that...

The really sad thing is, some people already have their minds made up.

Even if he is found innocent, that night will haunt him forever.

If its found out to be untrue, if I were Margarito, I'd sue Richardson for defamation of character.


However, if he is guilty, he deserves every lashing he gets, and I'd stand in line to give one myself.

Exactly right. That's the thing, all we have are accusations by Richardson and some confiscated pieces of gauze. Richardson is the opponent's chief second, and has used these tactics before. His biased accusations somehow became gospel. When did he become the final authority? I don't see how people are making up their minds on those two things alone.

I started thinking things were taking a bad turn with the announced suspension and the fact that we had not really heard from Team Margarito or Antonio himself, but now they're talking like they've got nothing to hide.

We'll see what happens after Feb. 10.
