Barrera Rolling Full Steam Ahead Toward Amir Khan

By T.K. Stewart - He turned pro two decades ago in a dusty Mexico City ring and at age 35 he's now preparing to take on one of boxing's youngest stars and newest sensations. 'The Marco Antonio Barrera Express' is on its own set of tracks, its own time, and as usual its rolling along according to its own schedule.

Next weekend, Barrera will square off against ham-and-egger Johnny Nolasco in Guadalajara, Mexico. Once that expected pedestrian affair is over with it's full steam ahead to Manchester, England for a March stop against the young British upstart - Amir Khan. [details]

I really dont get this one. Non stop claims that Pacquiao beat an old Barrera and Marquez got left overs from a Barrera that Morales and Pacquiao already got done with and his fans are excited about him fighting Khan.

I thought Barrera was old already?
He's old or not old, which is it, or when was he old? Is he old now, or old in 03' when Pac manhandled him and from their on, if thats the case then Morales fought an old Barrera cause his third fight with Morales was after Pac first manhandled him in 03'? Please clarify this? When was or if he is old?

        No win situation for Khan,
If Khan looses, well back to the drawing board,
If Khan wins, "Oh Barrera was old anyways".

This should be one interesting fight. If khan can stick to a gameplan (for the first time in his boxing career) I feel he should be to fast, to young and to fresh for MAB. But, from what i've seen of khan is that he always gets 'caught up' in the moment and he lets the atmosphere get to him. Against ***an he looked 'better' but was still getting a little bit over excitied, especially when he had ***an hurt. I believe khan will start well but during the middle rounds he'll start thinking he's atruo gatti and get caught. He needs to stay focused for the full fight! I'm not sure he can!

so why would they pic a fight that is only going to criticise his career................... coz he is a weak ass p***y and if he had any balls he would be fighting prime boxers not nobodys or shot boxers!"peeleft:

Personally I think this is the ******est fight that Freddie and Frank could ever have picked for Khan.

I don't see any way that Amir wins. I think Barrera will stop him.

Just my two cents for what its worth.

Speed can kill and that's Amir! Young and eager Amir has speed and power and with Roach guidance, his immature style would be matured! I think he would finally shut the last remaining hopes of MAB to become a champion again.
