I don't understand why Tiberi retired after that though. Why would a single bad decision make someone want to walk away from the sport entirely? Especially if he had the potential to get to the top, which he seems to believe he had.

It's good to see a guy stick to his morals and refuse to accept the seedier side of boxing as being part and parcel of the sport.

Maybe that was it, but if so, it seems naive of him to have got involved in the first place, what with boxing's history in the 40s and 50s of being controlled by the Mafia, and so on.

Whatever, This guy had a good night and Toney had a bad one, He's been KTFO and had no power. He would have never been half as good as Hopkins or Toney and probably would have had his head bashed in if he continued. I don't like the way he talks about Bhop like he was the king and Hops was beneath him. If that was the case it was only because Bhop was a liitle green.

James Toney lost the Tiberi fight clearly. How did he not lose the fight when he was not punching?

PS, Toney only lost to Tiberi, because he was badly badly weight drained a blind man could see he had nothing left after the 3rd round.

Toney won the fight. Toney really doesn't care anymore so he probably just accepted what many people said, and said he lost.

You are nuts if you scored that fight for Toney.

I suppose James beat Griffin 1, Rahman too.
