Don’t ever count out Shane Mosley when he is an underdog fighting at The Staples Center. Mosley, a 4-1 underdog, landed 49% of his power punches on route to a ninth round KO win over defending champ Margarito, who was KO’d for the first time in his 44-fight career. Mosley’s accurate power punching prevented Margarito from mounting any offense, as he managed to get off just 61 punches per round after averaging 90-plus punches per round in his KO win over Miguel Cotto last July.
