Shaun George just beat Chris Byrd in a dominating fashion, now he wants to fight Jaffa Ballogou who looks like he got dominated in his last fight too... What gives, are people ducking Shaun George or is his team so cautious because they don't believe him to be anything special? -
I think it would of made much more sense for Lou, to make Glen Johnson vs Shuan George, it would be a fight the fans would want to see, both fighters want to fight the best but no one seems to be interested so they should turn to each other and both fighters arent fond of each other either.Comment

Hopefully that fight can still happen. George was supposed to fight on the Lacy-Taylor card in November but got hurt in camp. This is his first fight since then and he says he wants to make a statement.
Problem is, nobody wants to fight this guy.Comment

Calzaghe's people should definitely take this fight!Comment

I know Shaun wants the fight, he's called for it in the past. Shaun is used to being the underdog in a lot of situations, he thrives in those sort of situations. Shaun is not the guy to underestimate.Comment

Here is an excerpt from an interview with Shaun George about fighting Calzaghe.
“My dream fight would be with Joe Calzaghe in Whales in front of 60,000 Welshmen rooting against me. I’m comfortable in the underdog role. That fight probably won’t happen. I always wanted a fight like that – in a situation where no one believes in me. I would really like to be put under that kind of pressure situation.”
“The pressure won’t bother me. I’d thrive off that fight,” George added.
A fight with Calzaghe, who generates more than 40,000 ticket sales and lots of revenue in Cardiff, would mean everything to George.
“It’s just so much, it’s everything,” George said. “Calzaghe is considered the best light-heavyweight in the world and I know he’s not.”
George continued: “No one gave me a chance against Chris Byrd. If there’s going to be a fight between Calzaghe against myself, it’s going to be 10-times worse. A lot of people are going to be against me. He sells tickets. They consider him to be the best and that’s the fight that I want.”Comment
