Lopez-Penalosa: Juanma Has Not Received Confirmation

WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez has yet to receive confirmation that Gerry Penalosa will be his next opponent. The fight is scheduled to take place in April in Puerto Rico. The date of April 4 has often been mentioned, but now April 25 is also in play. Penalosa is expected to vacate his WBO bantamweight title to rise in weight for the Juanma showdown. Fernando Montiel and Eric Morel would then battle for Penalosa's vacant belt. [details]

I won't believe this fight wil happen until Penalosa is in that same ring with JuanMa. Penalosa has had fights scheduled with multiple fighters over the past 3 years, Daniel Ponce De Leon rematch (1 time), Nestor Rocha (4 times), Abner Mares (3 times). And the sad thing is he would of looked good against any of those opponents I'd mentioned but JuanMa?! JuanMa is gonna send him back to the Phillipines in 2 rounds maximun.

This is not a 1 minute fight i'm telling you Penalosa is one of the best Defensive boxer. This fight will go 12 rounds.

Hope this materializes, I'm willing to fly to PR to see Juanma fight.
I'm sure my grandparents wouldn't mind the visit either.
