Cotto Says Margarito Needs His Best To Beat Mosley

The pride of Puerto Rico, Miguel Cotto, says that Antonio Margarito will need to be at his best to beat former three-division champion Shane Mosley on January 24 at the Staples Center in California. When asked for his opinion on the fight, Cotto told Jose "OnFire" Aguirre of BoxingScene.com that unless Margarito is at his best, Mosley will win the fight. Cotto won a close decision over Mosley in 2007 and was stopped by Margairto in eleven rounds last July. [details]

I am sure Margo is training hard and isn't taking Shane lightly. i have seen several interviews where he says just that, that he is not taking Mosley lightly because he is a very experienced and good fighter.

I've come to realize that Williams vs Margarito II may never happen. Margarito doesn't seem to anxious to fight him and with Williams jumping divisions and the Welterweight division at where it's at now, I think it's safe to say we may never see it happen.

Williams may be saying he can go to Middleweight, Jr Middle, and Welter...but father time only let's that happen for so long until your body can't respond. Plus, he's got a fight with Winky which may propel him into staying at Middleweight for a fight with Pavlik (why not, right?)
