Former champion Danny Green will make a decision next month on a potential rematch with Aussie rival Anthony Mundine. Not long after capturing the WBA light heavyweight title, Green shocked everyone by announcing his retirement last March. Mundine won their first meeting by decision. The fight was the biggest moneymaker in the history of Australian boxing. The rematch is expected to be bigger. So big that Mundine's team has been hounding Green to come out of retirement so they can make the fight. Mundine has an offer of nearly $5 million on the table for Green. [details]

Yeah, this is a rematch we all want to see, because the first fight was so close.
Why would Mundine want this fight? He seems to want it more than Green, it should be the other way around.
This is Lame, just like Mundine.

i agree this is lame, but green deserves just as much **** for this happening again
the way he retired, giving up hes title like that and especially after winning the title in one of the biggest farces i have ever seen, then not fighting hes mandatory, just because he didnt wanna be in a hard fight, which garay would definitely have been for him
you dont have to be nostradamus to know, that this fight was gonna happen again theres just too much money to be made by both, thats why it was such a gutless move by green retiring the way he did, he knew that he was a marked man now that he was a legit champion and he wouldnt be able to pick on bums and over the hill fighters anymore like he had through- out hes career. and he didnt want a part of them hard fights
what im trying to say is to give up hes title the way he did and to comeback for the money against mundine, is classless and is why he deserves as much **** as mundine for this fight happening again

The 1st fight wasn't even close!! Green won the WBA strap, had to make one defence against that bum Hugo Garay or whatever. The second manditory then would have been #2 rated by the WBA being RJJ, i believe just like my man Calzaghe, Green could have cruised to a UD against old man RJJ. It doesn't make sense to retire then fight Mundine again. Calzaghe should fight Mundine in his last fight, that would be ***ing great. Id travel to Millenium Staduim to see that bum be taught a lesson by my man Joe. And we all know Sven Otteke ducked Joe for years!!

People are ****** enough to buy this ****, dont worry about that.
I heard Green is being offered a **** load of money to come out of retirement and fight Mundine. I would love to see Mundine step up and actually fight a live opponent. Winky vs Mundine anyone? I wanna see Winky take him apart.

Green would have struggled with a old Jones.
