Cristian Mijares To Return on March 14 at Bantamweight

Former super flyweight champion Critsian Mijares (36-4-2, 15KOs) returns to the ring on March 14 at the bantamweight limit. Mijares says that he will no longer fight at super flyweight. Mijares is coming off a November knockout loss to Vic Darchinyan. His next opponent is unknown, but the fight will likely take place in Mexico. [details]

I can't wait to see his comeback, I think he could fight Montiel in the near future.

Good for him! Props to Mijares for informing his fans in advance or not signing any fight contract unlike that ***** Montiel.

nah it was more him underestimating darch that did him in.....he is faster than he looks and his power was wearing mijares down big time even with partially slipped punches........he didnt use his jab or footwork to control the pace and range of the fight(pretty much the blueprint nonito gave)......he fought like an idiot plain and simple(though i agree of course the fact that he had been struggling with weight for a long time didnt help)
