a lot of you were ****ting on this fight:

"great idea, how about we ask wlad klitchsko and bernard hopkins to fight? or mayweather and jermain taylor? calzaghe and diaz? this moving up 6 or 7 weight divisions crap is gettin frickin ridiculous, whats the point of weight divisions if the fighters are just guna baloon up to their walk around weights so they can take on a bigger guy for $$$$$ manny at 147? he started his career as a ****ing flyweight, hes 5''6, im not saying oscar would kill manny but at welterweight manny would resemble a beachball!"

"I would rather see Ivan Calderon vs Bernard Hopkins."

" oh my ****ing god as much as i am a pac nuthugger i can't ****ing nuthugg this ****. it's too ****ing dumb of an idea. come on!!! it's ridiculous."

cause it was insane enough for Pac to skip TWO divisions and fight OSCAR DE LA HOYA. And De La hoya agreed. said he can make 147 easy. and he did
let me paraphrase since you want to **** on floyd's victiry and big up pacs...

WHY did manny need to fight oscar at 147 and not 154..why did freddy demand 147 when oscar hadn't fought there in 7 years.

why did freddy deman 130 for the 3rd morales fight when erik had documented trouble making 130 for the 2nd pac fight.

manny fought a weight drained oscar and a weight drained erik morales and he is supposed to be great...let's get it on dumb ass

damn that weight drained excuse again. roach was looking out for pac during the dlh fight.

since you can't get it through your thick head how insane Pac-DLH seemed to be, and the thought of pac stopping him was just ludicrous:http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...ce+hoya&page=4

floyd split decisioned DLH. Pac made him quit. there you go.

De La Hoya was really past it and did look very average than he ussually does, he also didn't look like he wanted to win as much... I am not going to say anything about him being weight drained though because from what I heared he was walking around at 147 a month before the fight.

Nevertheless nobody can take the victory from Pacquiao, he put up a fantastic display, and proved why he is pound for pound #1. Even though Oscar is probably just about past it, he should of had what it takes to beat Pacquiao, as he fights at 154 when Pacquiao fights at 135. So I give full credit to Pacquiao for beating De La Hoya because it indeed was an absolutely fantastic victory.

Seriously, you guys are ****in ******ed lmao. Look at the fight, not the words out of someones mouth. I mean you're actin like any trainer wouldn't hesitate to say if a fighter looked ****ty or not in camp. It's their job to say **** like that. I'm not even sayin they were lying, I'm sure Oscar did look good. Who doesn't look good in camp? ****in morons lol..

Now look at what matters, the fight. Oscar came in fightin like a weak ass starving 40 year old. lol The **** was horrible what Oscar tried to put up, the guy was trippin over his own feet, fallin into the ropes, the prime example of a guy whos done.

First of all... If the Oscar vs Mayweather 2 actually pulled through, Oscar would have been fighting Mayweather at 147 regardless! At the time Pacquiao fought at 135, so don't you think it makes sense that they meet half way? And besides Oscar fought Steve Forbes at 150 and won! Not much of a difference compared to 147. And you say that Dela Hoya hasn't fought at 147 in 7 years? Well Pacquiao has NEVER fought at 147 EVER and yet beat Dela Hoya! Morales fought Diaz at 135 and still lost, so you can't discredit Pacquiao for beating Morales at 130.

still waiting for your reply. honestly your the worst type of floyd fan here. you discredit any fighter that has a chance to beat floyd and overhype who he has beaten. you are probably one of those idiots that think floyd>srr.

i ain't denying floyd's skills. he is one of the most gifted boxers of this era. but he retired too early, ducked competetion, and is a safety first fighter. besides the fact that he talks right out his ass, pretty much like how some of you floyd fans here.

pac's win over dlh is only overrated when people carry on like he beat a prime dlh. the dlh that showed up that night would have had a hard time against any elite fighter.
