Toney's resume is stronger but that's because Wright had trouble getting fights until late in his career. Toney on the other hand had a stretch of almost 10 years when he was not interested in boxing and mostly fought nobodies.

only good win for toney is michael nunn and jirov, nunn was winning that fight until he gassed and jirov is still overrated. mccallum was good win too (if you actually count that!!) - controversial.

joe calzaghe would beat the **** out of any version of james toney. People laugh at joe's resume, but maybe they should take a look at james toneys, before talking ****.

And james toney was not defensive as he was at heavy weight until he got up to cruiser and heavyweight. He left himself open alot at super middle weight, he was far easier to hit back then.

De Witt is not the best fighter, but he is not a bum either. Toney beat an old shot version of him that Nigel Benn had already destroyed. Im not saying De Witt would of beaten Toney, but a prime De Witt would not have been handled so easily.
