BoxingScene Readers Respond: Bouts They Want in 2009

The response to the piece was outstanding. BoxingScene readers emailed me throughout the busy New Year’s week with their thoughts on Hopkins-Valuev, Williams-Forrest, and particularly Cotto-Pacquiao. However, most sent snippets on bouts they are hungry to see in the next 365 days. [details]

I'd like to see Pavlik v Abraham, Pacman-Cotto, Marquez-Campbell, even pavlik-calslappy. By the way, I really, really hate calslappy. Fight a real opponent you coward!!!

I think the Chad Dawson-Hopkins fight might be a go. If that's what the fan's want, that's what the fan want. I'd pay to watch that fight. I think Dawson would get stole on, but it should be a good fight for Hopkins.

Hopkins will beat the living ***** out of the young bucks.

Margarito vs. Williams 2? That should be a good one too. But i heard that PW's taking a small break to let his cuts heal. i think Margarito will win this one, if they decide to fight again. i don't think fight will happen.
