Can’t We Enjoy A Fun Heavyweight Matchup?

By Jake Donovan - Stop your whining, already.

A proposed fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Chris Arreola was barely in the negotiating stage when fans started bitching.

Arreola’s not ready, why would he want to cash out so soon? Why is he even getting a shot in the first place? [details]

I don't give Arreola much more than a puncher's chance, but the fight is intriguing, and like Jake said, promises to be entertaining. Hell, I would take Povetkin/Arreola, that could be a great fight. But the truth is that boxers are entertainers and thats how they make their money. And Wlad isn't all that entertaining anymore (thanks Steward). So WHy not an entertaining victory over Arreola and possibly even over Povetkin.

I am more interested in Have vs Vitali but i will watch Arreola vs Wlad, i think after Arreola's poor display against Walker people think it will be one sided.

Chris Arreola has almost no chance, but what does he lose? He gets the biggest pay day out there for him, and all that happens when he gets knocked out is people say "He wasnt ready. He will be back." He was gonna lose the first time he fought anyone good anyways, might as well lose to the best.

This is a well-reasoned article. Props to the author.

That's true, he pretty much has nothing to lose. Whereas Wlad has everything to lose.

                Good article.

Instead of whining and being so negative about the heavyweight division, people should be looking forward to what promises to be an entertaining fight.
