Nice to see the Fight of the Year go to Margarito vs. Cotto .....
This a perfect award for the dumb ass nut huggers who say Margarito "owned" or easily beat Cotto.
You see Fight of the Years doesnt go to blow outs or first round knockouts, or Hector Macho Guzman for running and showboating. It goes to blood and guts warriors and battles, like Vasquez vs. Marquez, Castillo vs Corrales, Ward vs. Gatti.....those deserve Fights of the years. Nice

yeah WW hasnt been this exciting since the days when sweet pea, tito, and Ike ruled the roost. and DLH was just moving up in weight. and there was one hell of a good mexican fighter who was the WBO champ back then too whose name I cant recall.

but 2008 was the year of the WW's and LHW's IMO
