It's perhaps a bit crass to anoint him with this accolade over Pancho Villa before he has retired - Pacquiao himself would probably agree. Pacquiao is almost certainly the objectively better fighter, but the place for such career evaluations is post-retirement.Comment

{People are talking about Pac as one of the greatest b oxers....period. So i would assume he must be the best Filipiono or at least a top candidate. But sorry but my knowledge of past great philipinos is limited to say the least.Comment

PAC at this point has considerably achieved more than Elorde or Villa, both first Asian HOFers as classical & modern day greats ....
and PAC has surpassed that and is currently ATG Asian Fighter and still going even higher, there is no need to wait for post-retirement evaluation ...Comment
