  • Vitali Klitschko May Vacate For David Haye Fight

David Haye is going to get his wish, if things go as planned, and fight a Klitschko in 2009. Haye has been chasing WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko for months. He surprised many when he revealed on BBC Radio that a deal was struck for a fight with WBC champ Vitali Klitschko, the older of the two brothers and seen as the stronger brother with the better chin. David Haye is a warrior, even if he gets ko'd by Vitali. He took the riskier fight. I got vitali winning this by knockout.

This fight doesn't really need a belt but it makes it that much better if it's a title fight, hopefully the WBC allows Klitschko to fight Haye.

haye is going to get smashed i think he can be a good heavywieght. i just dont think he can beat vitali. i like vitali but for some reason i dont like wlad and i think haye defintly has a chance against wlad. and no one can say he doesnt. cause i mean if haye caught him a bunch a times hed be good. but i think vitali will knock him out for sure.

It's a smart move by Haye capitalizing on his momentum. If he keeps fighting other top contenders he could possibly get knocked out and lose his chance at a big money fight. He would be a serious underdog vs. someone like Vitali but I guess the millions he is getting paid had to factor into the equation. Gotta strike while the iron is hot.
