I know, Hatton is close to Calzaghe and i also think his record looks better specially when you look closer. One fight, the loss blew it for Hatton. He would be p4p #1 and the GOAT, had he been undefeated because lets be honest, that's what it's all about nowadays in boxing right now, right? Specially if you're a younger fan, you see it like that. But at least Ricky got off Europe to fight prime fighters, Mayweather, Mallignaggi and for tittles, none of his opponents were "Roy Jones" shot (maybe Castillo but was really a tuneup for Mayweather) if at all. All in all he edges Joe C slightly but he does, and he's not done yet. What i feel is very unfair is Ricky's p4p rank being so low compared to his value. He's the best at 140 and he proved it by beating the other "best", in his prime, for the tittle. He also attempted the same moving up in weight and just came a little short. And now he's fighting the best p4p fighter in the world. THAT's what i call a true champion! He'll be head and shoulders above Joe C if he win, although i believe that will be a very tough fight for him. (Another thread maybe)Comment

Explaining to do? The fact the man was made p4p #2 when his best opponent was 43 years or age, is enough. But if you are really crazy about him, know that he is a ONE division EX champion, who took over a DECADE to move up 7 POUNDS, in order to have TWO MEANINGLESS FIGHTS (Bernard and Roy) against two 40 YEAR OLDS, for NO BELT OR TITLE WHATSOEVER!!! He does have the best workrate at the division and he has nice footwork but the rest of it is NOT SPECIAL, on the contrary. All in all it's just not enough for any top 5, certainly he makes top 10 (not all time idiot, this decade) but for Christ sake, not even Oscar was this overrated! Even to say he's the best ever from Britain is ******, if you know Lewis. Lewis' record is a showcase of who's who on the HW division. Lewis gave a prime Vitali a chance to be the HW champion of the world, when he was 37 and out of shape. Time can make some people forget all about history but here's a reminder.
