calzaghe is undefeated ******
he has more title defenses than anybody that fought in this era
and still remained undefeated
and unlike hopkins, he didn't make his name by fighting blown up welterweights, he fought prime fighters like lacy and kessler
hopkins is the kind of fighter that would never fight the likes of kessler

And we all know Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler are all time greats.

Hard to say really, Calzaghe beat both Hopkins and Jones but I'm not sure if he is better than PacMan.

Jones was past his prime but Hopkins isn't - really. So the win over Hopkins puts Calzaghe directly above Hopkins for me, can Calzaghe beat a Prime Jones? Who knows? history will show Calzaghe won the fight though so that for me moves him above Jones.

I take my list back from a few minutes ago after thinking about it.

2. Manny Pacquiao/Roy Jones
4. Bernard Hopkins
5. Floyd Mayweather
