Heavyweights are Finally taking the Cruiserweights’ Lead

It’s nice to see that the current generation of boxing’s big brother division is starting to grow up and try to pound each other in a meaningful way. This weekend we are treated (hopefully) to a great fight between two young faces of the heavyweight picture. Both Cristobal Arreola and Travis Walker are looking to paint their contender masterpiece using the other’s career as their medium. As a collective fanbase lets out an exasperated “finally!” - the division’s little but more talented sibling (cruiserweight) is doing the same thing. [details]

Cruiserweight doesn't always have much talent but it has produced some great fights recently and has been more exciting to watch than heavyweight.

Thats just it, the cruiserweights do have more talent then the heavyweights. Its a much deeper division that has just in the past year finally put together a string of good relavent fights between some of the best young fighters in the division. ANd Arreols/Walker is a step in the right direction for the heavyweights
