Memphis, Tenn. - Prize Fight Promotions announced Thursday the latest installment of their “Fights at the Fitz” series, an action-packed six-bout card set for this Saturday, November 22nd, at the Fitzgerald Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi.
The “Fights at the Fitz” boxing series has proven to be immensely popular with local fans, as indicated by the standing-room only crowds at every show.
Undefeated lightweight prospect Mark Davis (9-0, 4 KO) of Cleveland, OH headlines the card, as he meets his toughest opponent to date in Roberto Astacio (7-2) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In his last fight at the Fitz, the aforementioned fast-handed Davis left opponent Carl McNickols knocked out cold in the 4th round of their scheduled 6-round lightweight bout that left fans on standing on their feet. Davis has quickly emerged as a fan favorite at the Fitz, with all but two of his pro fights taking place at the casino. [details]
