There appears to be an issue of money and both fighters being tied to rival cable networks in Germany. Sauerland denies that he made an offer of 2.5 million euro to Sturm. He says that Sturm is actually asking for 3 million euro for the fight. If Sturm wants 3 million euro, Sauerland says that Abraham should also get 3 million euro. This would have been the perfect fight to unify the titles before the winner fights Pavlik after he beats Rubio, now Abraham will either have to take a stay busy fight or wait a few months for Pavlik to get past Rubio.

Make This Fight!

I have been wanting to see this fight happen for quite some time. Before Hopkins handed his ass to him, I would have had a hard time predicting a winner but given recent events I think Abraham will KO Pavlik and beat him bad enough to take the spotlight off of Pavlik for a long time. I don't like to route against Pavlik and like the guy but I feel he's got a lot to prove after that last outing. Abraham by KO in 4 if this fight goes down.
