I actually see a lot of parallels in Joe and Lennox's careers.

Both were unheralded for years and avoided/ignored by top names (Chicken Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson/ Jones, Hopkins)

Both dominated their divisions even though they may not have been perceived as the strongest. They beat everyone they had to beat.

Both beat a veteran ATG champion.(Holyfield/Hopkins)

Both ended the career of a legend in dominating fashion (Tyson/Roy).

    Both aged like fine wines.

So what seperates Lennox from Joe in your eyes, brizpac?

lennox's career is superior to joe's.

joe is a great fighter but lennox is an all time great fighter.

if you mention the top heavyweights of all time lennox will be top 5 or at least top 10.

if you mention the top middleweights-light heavyweights of all time joe calzaghe would hardly be in the top 10.

great fighter but not all time great. big difference at least to me.

I was looking for a proper explaination. Not just writing down your opinion and thinking its some sort of absolute truth.

The fact that you think Roy avoided Joe says it all. Lennox was awesome.

          Next.

Why do you rate Lewis over Calzaghe?
