Pryor, Cincinnati, Ohio, is the son f Hall of Fame Jr. Welterweight champion Aaron “The Hawk’ Pryor (39-1, 35 Kos), who was part of two of the greatest fights of his era vs. Nicaraguan champion Alexis Arguello (82-8, 65Kos). Aaron ‘The Hawk’ Pryor secured the WBA Light Welterweight Championship title right here in Cincinnati on August 2, 1980 with a fourth round KO. Pryor, Jr. states, “I am ready to carry on the family tradition of pleasing my hometown fans. It’s great to be back in front of the Cincinnati fans and I hope to put on as great a performance as my last fight here in August 2008.
