You are onto something, aren't you?

You could say that, then again you could also say that Pavlik and Calzaghe are two different types of fighters.

I don't know what it was, but I'm still try to figure out how Hopkins looked five years younger than the guy who fought Taylor and Calzaghe. I mean Pavlik wasn't that bad.

Maybe, maybe it was Freddie Roach or it was just Pavlik's style, most of us knew Hopkins' style was all wrong for Pavlik.

hopkins would ko calzaghe in the rematch so calzaghe is ducking him. he doesn't want none of that. without freddie roach and all those hanger ons in hopkins corner he is a beast.

I think it might have worsened his stamina, but I think he would still have the same speed and all that clinching would still make him tired. Who knows.

I don't want to take away from Calzaghe's performance though and so we'll just say no, it does not.

Outside of the first round knockdown, which was proceeded by 11 rounds in which Calzaghe usually got the better of the action, nothing suggests that Hopkins would KO Calzaghe in a rematch. Other than being a fan of the fighter.

Calzaghe won't fight him because all of the obstructions towards him taking the money fights he wants have been cleared. Hopkins beat up Pavlik so Pavlik is out, Calzaghe already beat Hopkins so he gains nothing from a second fight but risks everything.

If Hopkins would KO Calzaghe in a rematch, why didn't he do it the first time around?

and what fight were you watching? if getting hit flush and missing the other guy constantly is getting the better of the action then damn.

If you throw 25 punches and the other guy throws 60+, it's hard to award you the fight.

                  Ya dig?
