Anthony Mundine To Hook Up With Golden Boy?

It appears former super middleweight champion Anthony Mundine made quiet trip to America for a meeting with Oscar De La Hoya; to discuss the possibility of making a splash in America under De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. Rather than take a rematch with Mikkel Kessler, Mundine vacated his WBA title and dropped down to middleweight. He believes that Golden Boy is his road to big middleweight fights in the United States. [details]

It's a good move from Mundine to sign with GBP, but I thought he decided making middleweight was too draining for him.

Looks like Mundine is finshed fighting Soliman. It's about time Mundine gets a meaningful fight if his career isn't going to be called a waste of talent.

Has his contract with Nasser expired?

Good move for Mudine, and now hopefully he will get some good competive fights that will move his career foward.

i agree, hopefully he'll be able to get some bigger fights, many people want to see him take on a tougher competition. even when he was interviewed on the footy show before his fight against crazy kim, fatty quizzed him on the topic of when he was going to fight better competition.

i know a lot of people who dont like him. i dont really mind him personally, so id be interested to see how he goes in the states
