Its true about the greenery you never really notice it when your here, but when i think about it, i haven't seen anywhere with the greenery like the grass here lol.

What you're looking at is "green" but if you want to see the ultimate in green you must go to Ireland, the sight of the fields when the plane is approaching is hard to equal, let alone beat.

Manchester is a Midlands city, in the industrial belt and not a country vision at all. I saw some lovely homes there, but also, like many other places, some of the worst slums imaginable.

Anyway, to catch the poor swelled head egotist when he's just off a long plane journey wasn't giving him a fair break. It was similiar to Oscar catching Manny P at the "aiyerport" [as Andy Griffith used to say in "No Time For Sergeants"] after a 15 hour flight and forcing both dinner and a contract on him whilst his head was drooping.

Of course a video on the "Green Hills of Ireland" would probably provide the same thing.

Manchester has amazing beauty in places, and the city centre is really making it's mark on the UK's second capital. It's trendy, has character and a ****** amount of history (birth place of industrial revolution, first to split the atom, first microprocessor computer built there, and the biggest football club in the world that being Manchester United).

However like any city there are slums and poverty, especially in the suburbs (Mosside, West Gorton to name a couple) though I doubt Floyd wouldn't be too shocked about that.

Manchester is the real English city it's got a real pioneering grit about it, London is fake, what Manchester does today...London does tomorrow.

hatton style is garbage. hit hold hit. ugly.

that said, I doubt hatton will be able to learn anything from floyd sr. hatton is pretty much set in his ways. the best floyd can do is to get hatton as sharp as possible.

Thanks for the pictures, it's many years since I've been there although I still have friends there, {relatives and schoolfriends}.I always though it was classified as being in the Midlands, along with Leeds, which I knew well, having been at University there, but since I went to school in Irel;and, we didn't learn much English geography, believe me.

About splitting the atom, are you talking about ****roft and Walton?? I know they did something in atom work around there. Walton was my physics lecturer at Dublin U. Trinity Coll. and I used to fall asleep in his lectures. The most dry-as-dust toneless country Irish voice i ever heard with a drone like a small 'plane. {Or a bagpipe.}......................
